I have had a deep interest in art for as long as I can remember. When I was in middle school I started drawing as a way to pass the time in-between classes when there were no assignments to do. In high school I started taking more advanced art classes where I learned technical elements of art and design. These classes helped me create realistic and more professional art pieces. At this point I began viewing art as a profession although I was not sure which career path I would follow, until I enrolled in computer programing and editing classes. It was around this time I started to peruse a career in graphic design where I could do something I love and am good at. Now I’m in college where I am learning how to use editing software and web design in my classes to gain more experience in graphic design. This is my third semester, and I am learning even more about the career I have chosen and what I must do to thrive in this field.
