3 Page Pamphlet
I designed this brochure in IMD226 desktop publishing. The assignment was to create a brochure with three pages for anywhere in the world would like to visit. I chose to make my pamphlet about Hawaii because I know it’s a popular vacation spot for people across the other forty-nine United States of America. To create the brochure, I used Adobe Illustrator to edit the colors, the fonts and the size of the pamphlet. I also used images that were found online to make the island look appealing and make my brochure look more professional.
Company Colored Logo Redesign
I was given this project in IMD277 Typography. The assignment was to redesign and color a logo we thought could be better. The logo I chose to remake was the Dunkin Donuts logo because I think their new logo is bland and boring. Using Adobe Illustrator, I was able to create a new design with new colors and I included the company motto America Runs on Dunkin in my logo. Additionally, I changed the font of the letters to something more stylish than the current logo.
Business Card Design
I created this busses card in Adobe InDesign. I was given the assignment to design a personnel business card in IMD270 Professional practices. For this project I mostly text editing and sizing tools to both create the custom symbol on the front of the card and information on back of the card. I also chose to use blue / dark blue as my only colors on the card to keep it simple and make it look clean. Additionally, I wanted it to be easy to read and not overdetailed, so I only used two colors and a clear front.
Hand Drawn Image
This was another project I did for IMD277 Typography. For this assignment I was tasked with drawing a word or phrase in a unique style or font that fills most of the page. The phrase I chose Of Ice and Fire was inspired by the HBO show Game of Thrones which I have started watching. The font I used was based on a previous project I did for this class where I had to create ten fonts and write the phrase ten times.
